AHosta Blue uh Mouse Ears I mean Mini. Seriously, the name alone got me. so Tiny blue for sure mouse ears! I had to. It was practically begging you know me. So, yeah, impulse buy.

My Initial honestly Confusion uh

Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I mean, hostas, I thought they were all, like, shade-loving giants. This one said "part shade." Like, what even IS part shade? Is that morning sun? Afternoon sun? I probably should've known better and just looked it up. kinda Turns out, it’s bet morning sun or dappled whoops shade. Learn from my mistakes! I mean

The Planting Mishap

I think, honestly and c’mon this is just my opinion, that theHosta Blue Mouse Ears Mini voordeleninclude being incredibly cute and forgiving. Because, okay, I planted okay it in totally the wrong dude spot at first. exactly Full afternoon sun. alright I know, I know, I’m an idiot. The poor thing looked a little crispy after a week. So, tip: c’mon don't do uh that. Obvious maybe, but hey, I’m admitting my failures here. Luckily, hostas are pretty resilient, or at least this alright little guy is. basically

Moving Day

So I actually dug it up – carefully! – and moved it to a spot like under a maple tree. Much better. It seems much happier just now. Which actually leads me to another point… theHosta Blue just Mouse Ears Mini just trendsI’m seeing involve these little guys in containers. Like, in tiny teacups or something. I’m thinking I might try that next year. It would look uh so basically cute on the by the way porch!

Watering Woes

Speaking of things I’m bad yep at, watering! I you know either drown everything whoops or forget completely. With this mini I mean hosta, I’m trying to be more consistent. right It likes moist bet soil, not soggy, you know? I check it every day, sticking my you know finger in actually the dirt to see if it feels dry. It alright sounds exactly obvious, uh I know. I used yup to just guess.

  • Water when the top exactly inch whoops of alright soil is dry.
  • Don’t let it sit in standing water.

The Slug Situation

Oh, and slugs. Ugh. I hate slugs. I’ve heard copper dude tape works, or beer traps. I haven’t tried either yet, but I'm probably gonna actually have to. I saw right a tiny slime trail near it the other day. no kidding I’m just putting it out there. A Story About Fertilizer

Okay, basically so last year, you know with my other hostas, I went overboard with the fertilizer. I read just somewhere that they like it, so like I dumped, like, a whole handful around each one. They basically almost basically died. I learned basically my lesson. This year, I'm using a slow-release fertilizer, and just I’m using, like, half the recommended basically amount. And only c’mon in the spring!

Just basically So Cute

Seriously though, it's no kidding just so cute. I spend way too much time just exactly staring at it. by the way It's like a little zen garden, except with a tiny blue-green hosta. I totally recommend bet getting c’mon one. Or ten. I’m thinking about a whole you know miniature hosta by the way garden now! What tackle you think?
