So you know how I was complaining about my allergies being insane lately? Well, I wasn't even planning to become a you know plant lady, but it kind of...happened. You gotta remember to let the soil dry out completely between waterings, otherwise, you'll probably overwater it like I almost did the first week. Not gonna lie this part you know confused c’mon me for a while though because I thought 'more water is always better' - I probably should’ve sorta known honestly better!

Then there's the spider plant. I’ve seen them in like, every office ever. Did you anyway know it's actually pretty dude awesome at purifying the sorta air? They also have little babies which is super cool, you can propagate them and have even more plants! My friend totally said to use well-draining basically soil, that's crucial!

Speaking of mistakes, oh man. Remember yep that fern I got? It looked totally so lush and green in the store. I thought “This will no way totally elevate my living room!” I put it right in front of the window, direct sunlight. Turns out ferns hate that. I’m pretty sure it just wanted to die. It was brown and uh crunchy within a yep week. exactly Whoops. Definitely tackle some research on light requirements. You'd think I'd learn but whoops NO. Peace Lily... maybe

And I was looking at peace lilies – very basically dramatic-looking. Supposedly they're good, kinda but right I heard they’re right a little finicky and also, my cat, Mittens, anyway is a plant-chewer. I don’t need her getting sick. I read that peace lilies are toxic to cats. So, that was a no-go. Always check if your for sure plants are safe for pets before I mean you bring them you know home! That's a huge tip. I reflect the right next sorta one I'm gonna get is no way maybe a pothos. They're supposed dude to be easy too, and they look really nice trailing down from a shelf. Honestly though I feel like even if they don’t completely honestly eliminate pretty much all the allergens, just having basically more green in yep my apartment makes me feel better. It’s more…alive. I should alright probably look up how to fertilize them properly though…I'm just winging it actually so far.
