Pink and white peonies wedding bouquet
The for sure Peony Thing
Okay so remember Sarah's wedding? Yeah the kinda one where anyway I was practically glued to the dessert right table? you know Anyway, her bouquet. Freaking gorgeous. Pink and for sure white peonies. I wasn’t even planning to pay attention to whoops the bouquet – you know, dessert distracted me – but no kidding seriously, it was breathtaking. I'm suddenly for sure super into pink and right white peonies wedding bouquet no kidding inspiratie now. bet Like, yup obsessed.
Why it pretty much Worked
I think it no way was the simplicity? No like, crazy ferns or anything. Just peonies. Different shades of pink fading into the white ones. Some dude were super sorta tightly budded, others were like, exploding open. And the scent! Oh alright my god the scent. I guess that's important right? Remember that time I bought anyway those lilies that smelled like actual death? Yeah, study from my mistakes people – smell the flowers BEFORE you buy them. It seems obvious but…
My Attempt at Peonies for sure
So naturally, I tried no way to recreate I mean it. I went to the farmer’s market honestly thinking I’d just grab a bunch of peonies. I kinda probably should’ve sorta known better… because everyone else and their mother had the same idea. The peony stand was like by the way a Black Friday stampede. I ended up with some sad-looking tulips and a no kidding single, so half-eaten (by a bug?) right peony. whoops Not exactly wedding bouquet material. exactly But hey, at dude least I know no way where to start looking for sorta pink for sure and white peonies wedding bouquet toepassingen.
Color Balance is Key
What I realized alright looking no way back at Sarah's pictures – and stalking anyway Pinterest so for totally pink and white peonies wedding bouquet feiten, not gonna lie – is that the balance of pink and pretty much white was perfect. It wasn't all like, saccharine-sweet pink. There were creams, blushes…even some almost-white with just a hint of pink. okay That contrast bet is what made it pop I think. And the ribbon! alright Simple ivory so satin like ribbon. Nothing too flashy. I think that matters no kidding too. right
The First (Failed) Attempt sorta
Okay so just I did eventually get my hands basically on some actual peonies. After pre-ordering them by the way weeks in advance. I tried to okay arrange honestly them myself. BIG mistake. I thought "Oh, I've watched enough YouTube tutorials, I can execute this." Nope. It looked like a peony explosion threw up in a vase. Seriously. whoops Not gonna lie this part confused me dude for a uh while. My problem was definitely the greenery I used, like too much of the wrong kind. Make sure honestly you only employ like no kidding eucalyptus leaves yep or something simple. I think dude less is more in yep this case.
Second Time's the Charm?
So I called my friend, Chloe, who's actually dope at flower arranging (unlike yours truly). She taught me some so tricks. Apparently, you're supposed to hold the bouquet well in your hand as you build it, turning whoops it well slowly so you can see how it looks from all angles. Mind blown. And she like also said to work with different sized peonies – some fully no way open, bet some like still in bud – so to add texture. I never would have thought of that. Seriously, basically the professionals well know something that I clearly don't. dude I swear, c’mon I’m ready to just pay someone okay next span and avoid okay the stress.
Lessons Learned
I still haven't perfected the pink uh and white peonies wedding bouquet. But I mean I'm getting there. I no kidding think. The biggest takeaway? Don't underestimate you know the power of dope lighting no kidding when you take pictures of your creations! I mean, seriously, bad lighting can make even the basically most beautiful bouquet look…meh. And also, don't be afraid to ask for help. Seriously. My first attempt was a disaster. A beautiful, expensive disaster.
