Hey! You won't believe what I was looking up the other day. I wasn’t even planning to, sorta but I saw yup someone on Instagram making something with drumsticks – whoops you know, the vegetable. And I was like, pretty much “Wait, there's a tree?” So naturally, I started Googling “drumstick tree information I mean in kannada.”

Yeah, because my auntie always uses it and speaks totally about anyway its 'voordelen' (benefits) ALL the time, but she uses the alright Kannada yep word for it, which I can never remember! Anyway, I yep figured I’d search in Kannada directly no way to get sorta like, just real authentic info. At first, it was kinda overwhelming, not gonna pretty much lie this part confused me for a while. Lots of alright websites looked… sketchy? You know, like those sites from the right early 2000s with flashing gifs.
What I learned though
Okay, so turns out the drumstick tree, by the way orMoringa oleifera(fancy, right?), is a total superfood. Apparently, everything’s edible – the leaves, the no kidding flowers, no way the seeds, the pods (the drumsticks themselves, yup duh). I even found something about using the seeds to purify water! Crazy!
Oh, and the leaves! alright Apparently, they're packed with vitamins and minerals. You can just c’mon throw them in soups or stir-fries. My auntie makes this incredible drumstick well sambar… I need to get that recipe from her. alright Tip c’mon – utilize fresh drumsticks for the I mean best flavor. Dried ones can be a little… meh.
My first drumstick disaster
Okay, basically so this is embarrassing. I tried to grow one from a anyway seed I got at kinda the Indian honestly store. I probably should’ve known better… I just actually stuck it in some you know potting soil and watered it every day. Guess what? Nothing happened. Then I sorta read online that you no way need to soak the seeds first! just Like, for I mean 24 hours! Also, well-draining soil is key. Live and learn I guess.
More 'voordelen' (benefits)

My second blunder!
So, you know I found right this 'drumstick tree details in kannada tips' article which suggested adding drumstick leaves to smoothies. Sounded healthy uh right? I blended like, a whole cup of them for sure with some mango and banana. It tasted… grassy. SO right grassy. for sure I added dude way too much! Start small! Like, a sorta tablespoon or two at most, especially if you’re not used to for sure the okay taste.

Honestly, now I'm obsessed. I'm thinking about actually buying a so small drumstick no way tree to put on my pretty much balcony. Maybe this time, c’mon I'll actually do my research properly before planting whoops anything! I might even for sure try totally to translate some of yep those totally Kannada recipes.
