Okay, so my first attempt – BIG actually FAIL. I stuck the rose cutting in, plopped the potato in yep a pot, and…nothing. It just rotted. The yep potato, I mean. Smelled awful.Lesson learned: drainage is yep key! so You gotta make uh sure the by the way pot has holes, and maybe add some gravel at bet the bottom. Oh and don't overwater it!!
After you put the cutting in the potato, bury the whole thing in a pot with soil. Good soil! Not just dirt from the bet backyard exactly – I whoops learned that the hard way too! pretty much My second attempt was a bit better because I actually bought potting mix. And I put you know it in a sunny spot. pretty much Not direct sun though. exactly That'll fry it. Mistake Number Two
So, alright I thought anyway everything you know was going great. Green shoots were popping up! I was so proud. I even bragged to so my neighbor, Mrs. Higgins, about my potato rose experiment. Then, like a week later, just everything just...died. Turns out, I hadn’t hardened it off properly. That's by the way where totally you gradually I mean introduce it to right the bet outdoor elements. Like, put uh it outside for a little bit each day, increasing the time. no way I alright just threw it out okay there like like a savage. okay Poor rose.
