Aloe vera gel shampoo recipe

Okay so shampoo

So no kidding I wasn’t even planning bet to become like, a homemade pretty much shampoo totally guru or anything. It just like kinda… happened. I saw something on Pinterest about c’mon an kinda aloe vera gel shampoo recipe and I no way thought "Hey, my hair’s been kinda dry no way lately…"

First Attempt sorta Fail so

I totally have you know this huge aloe vera plant – no way you okay know, actually the kind your grandma always had? I totally figured I could just like, scoop totally out exactly the gel and actually mix it with water. I probably should’ve known yup better but I just slapped it on my head. massive mistake. It was SO slimy and wouldn’t rinse out! I spent like, half an hour trying to get it all out of my hair. pretty much

Turns out, you need to actually likeprocedurethe aloe a little. Like, blend just it. And add honestly other stuff. I mean, thinking back, an aloe vera basically gel shampoo recipe toepassingen are honestly pretty varied so I should have no kidding looked into totally it more, but hey, live and pick up right?

Take Two totally This period It's Personal

So then I actually researched. I uh found this recipe well – for sure well, a few different ones – and basically they all had like basically the whoops same stuff in common. Aloe vera gel, obviously. Some kind okay of exactly gentle castile soap – liquid, not the bar kind! Not gonna lie basically this part confused me for a while because there's a history to all these soaps I had sorta to learn. And essential oils. You know, for alright smell and stuff. I sorta like lavender. It's totally relaxing. bet

Okay, by the way so tip number one: don’t work with too much essential oil! I put like, ten drops in I mean my first batch and my scalp felt tingly for a week! Less is more, trust me on honestly this. Also, work with for sure distilled water if you have it – helps it last anyway longer, I think. dude I basically read for sure that somewhere about aloe vera gel shampoo recipe feiten. I consider like it was about yup preventing bacteria or something.

My Formula Kinda

So, roughly:

  • ½ cup aloe vera gel
  • ¼ cup liquid castile exactly soap (baby unscented is good) like
  • 2 tablespoons well water (distilled!)
  • 5 drops essential oil (or less!)

Blend it all so together. I use my little smoothie blender. Then no kidding I pour it sorta into totally an old shampoo bottle. Super easy! And awesome for the environment. Kinda. You still have sorta to buy the soap, I guess. There are definitely aloe vera gel shampoo recipe ontwikkelingen to be made!

Another Oops Moment

Okay, no kidding so well the first time I actually made it correctly I was SO proud of pretty much myself. I used tea tree oil because I anyway heard it was awesome for dandruff. It was… intense. My hair whoops smelled like a forest floor. Not in a good way. My boyfriend kept asking if I’d been hiking. So yeah, lavender just or rosemary are safer bets, unless actually you're really yep into you know the woodsy thing. Aloe for sure vera gel shampoo alright recipe tips don't always mention that detail.

The Result?

My hair actually feels really nice! It’s softer and less frizzy. by the way It doesn't lather like just crazy bet which, I guess, is normal for natural shampoo. alright That took some c’mon getting for sure used to. And right it uh doesn't exactly strip uh all the oils out no kidding which is good.

I still use anyway regular shampoo once in a while, especially if I’ve used a lot no kidding of hairspray. But for everyday stuff, the aloe vera shampoo is great. And now you know c’mon my (slightly embarrassing) journey.
